Privacy on northline.run

This notice covers this website and the Northline early list. The Northline iPhone app has its own privacy policy.

Who is responsible

Northline is operated by Caroline Beauchamp. For any question or request about your information, email forcedreality0@gmail.com.

The early list

When you join, we store:

• your email address (trimmed and lower-cased so it is only listed once);
• when you joined, and how many times the address was submitted;
• how you found us, if the link said so (for example a campaign label such as “tiktok”), and the page that linked here without any query string.

We use your address only to tell you about Northline’s early access and launch — a handful of emails at most. We never sell it, share it for marketing or add you to anything else. We do not store your IP address, device or browser details with your signup.

The list is kept on Northline’s account service, which runs on Fly.io in the United States. We keep it until Northline has launched and the list is no longer needed, and at most 12 months after launch. Every email includes a way to stop hearing from us, and you can ask us to delete your address at any time by emailing the address above.

Visits

This site sets no cookies and uses no third-party analytics or advertising tools. To know whether the page is working, it sends a few anonymous counts to Northline — a visit, the signup form being seen, a signup attempt — tagged only with how you arrived (a campaign label, the linking site, or “direct”). These are added to daily totals; nothing identifies you or links them to your email. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, the site sends no counts at all.

The site is hosted on Vercel, which processes connection data such as IP addresses to serve pages and keep them secure.

Changes

If this notice changes, we will update the date above. If a change affects how we use your email, we will tell you before it applies.
